After a long day at the fair George is frustrated. It seems he is always too small! But when George falls asleep and wakes up BIG, he discovers being too large can be difficult, too, and maybe he's the right size after all. The adventures of Curious George continue in an all-new series beginning in fall 1998 with eight new stories. Written and illustrated in the style of Margret and H. A. Rey, the books appear in paperback (8 x 8") and hardcover editions and feature the art of Vipah Interactive, the animators of HMI's Curious George CD-ROMs.

作者简介

Hans Augusto Rey was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1898. As a child, he spent much of his free time in that city's famous Hagenbeck Zoo drawing animals. After serving in the army during World War I, he studied philology and natural science at the University of Hamburg. He then married Margret Rey and they moved to Montmartre for four years. The manuscript for the first Curious George books was one of the few items the Reys carried with them on their bicycles when they escaped from Paris in 1940. Eventually, they made their way to the United States, and Curious George was published in 1941. Curious George has been published in many languages, including French, German, Japanese, Afrikaans, and Norwegian. Additional Curious George books followed, as well as such other favorites as CECILY G. AND THE NINE MONKEYS and FIND THE CONSTELLATIONS.

塞林格，全名杰罗姆·大卫·塞林格（1919/1/1——2010/1/27）享年91岁，一九一九年生于美国纽约城，父亲是做奶酪和火腿进口生意的犹太商人，家境相当富裕。塞林格十五岁的时候，被父母送到宾夕法尼亚州一个军事学校里住读，据说《麦田里的守望者》中关于寄宿学校的描写，很大部分是以那所学校为背景的。一九三六年，塞林格在军事学校毕业，取得了他毕生唯一的一张文凭。

在古日本有位背上长上一对翅膀的女孩子（称为翼人）。翼人一直是古日本的兵器，最后一个翼人神奈备命，被视为接近神的人一直被当作求神赐予粮食的工具，因为如此，令外界对她又爱又怕，视为不祥又视为神圣。后来遇上了被派来“保护”她的柳也，和女官里叶一起去寻找母亲（八百比丘尼）。寻找到母亲后不久母亲就被弓兵射死，神奈是在空中被弓兵乱箭射死和被降魔咒所伤。可是死后她没有掉下来，而是在空中飘浮着，并且受到诅咒，堕入无限的轮回，一直被困在悲伤的梦中。里叶和柳也为了帮助神奈，决定为了替神奈解咒，要诞下后代来替自己完成心愿。
