　　這是我和中外名著的“第一次親密接觸”。當時，我的母親在大學裏當資料員，藉書有“近水樓颱”之便，每天下班，她都會給我帶書迴來，我也就一通狼吞虎咽，看完再讓母親去藉。讀些什麼，早已記不清瞭，無非挑那些好玩的讀，半懂不懂，囫圇吞棗。現在迴憶起來，最喜歡讀的外國名著，竟是儒勒·凡爾納的《海底兩萬裏》、《八十天環遊地球記》、《格蘭特船長的兒女》、《神秘島》。如果還有什麼，那就是柯南道爾的《福爾摩斯探案集》瞭。這些書，肯定讀瞭不止一遍，否則不會如此刻骨銘心，念念不忘。
