Kenna Bourke won the English Speaking Union's Duke of Edinburgh Book Competition in 1999 for her grammar series for young learners, The Grammar Lab. Amanda Maris has many years of experience both as a teacher and EFL writer. She has worked as a teacher in the UK, Spain and France, and as an UCLES examiner at FCE level.
