作者简介

Hugh Honour is one of the leading art historians of the 20th century. He is co-author with Nikolaus Pevsner and John Fleming of The Penguin Dictionary of Architecture.

John Fleming founded and edited with Hugh Honour the Pelican Style and Civilization series. He died on 29 May 2001.

直线爬行对这群小方蟹的影响，绝不只是活动范围有限那么简单。由于只能沿直线爬行，无法转弯，小方蟹们的生活半径就完全取决于蟹妈妈把它们生在哪个位置上。如果不凑巧地被生在了两块岩石之间，那么这个倒霉蛋一辈子就只能在几步路的范围内活动。出生时的小小偶然就决定了小方蟹们一辈子的生活和经历，这个有关直线爬行的设定在事实上成为出身宿命论的残酷隐喻。
