McQueen以一款幾乎要看見股溝的極低腰褲，震撼瞭整個流行界，大膽的性感，讓許多人為之瘋狂。麵對這樣的情況，他齣奇冷淡地迴答:“性感是一堆垃圾!我之所以設計這種低腰褲，根本就是為瞭拉長女人身體的比例。”反應完全沒有一點明星作風。
