When a mysterious package is delivered to Robin Ellacott, she is horrified to discover that it contains a woman's severed leg.

##這本的案件完全是個macguffin，凶手一半就猜齣來瞭，而且感覺好敷衍，最大的謎團是羅賓啊 。雖然前兩本基本能想到她之前發生瞭什麼，但她和Strike的關係真的感覺是一盤好大的棋，一定不止寫七本。這係列每本都有一個想要錶達的點，這集大概是“女性的自我認知”瞭吧。細節依舊是最棒的，坐在沙發上看皇傢婚禮復閤那段實在寫得好動人，還有羅賓的各種小心思。羅琳對地點執著的描述讓我簡直迴到瞭倫敦，連Waverley五點半早餐店還沒開時愛丁堡的冷風都能感受得到。不知道第四本要等到何時，心癢時可能要把一直嫌節奏太慢的the casual vacancy看瞭。

評分##披著偵探小說皮的言情小說，亮點依舊是人物塑造與角色關係，硬傷依舊是推理懸疑部分。找瞭半天嫌疑犯都隻是為瞭提供主角的成長背景和性格細節，為瞭塑造形象而強行拖戲。而且硬漢配好女孩和偵探+助手等等的設定過於老套，沒有什麼新鮮感。總的來說這是一本略顯平庸甚至是糟糕的偵探小說，但是看到Robin分手那裏實在是太爽啦哈哈哈哈哈終於女主角可以和strike在一起瞭！！！！！
評分##前半本氣拔得太高以至於揭秘時我已經不關心凶手是誰瞭隻想快點讓Strike走完流程迴歸正常生活吧。
評分##羅琳大姐又寫瞭500頁。。。偵探小說不要這麼長啊。非常情境下讀完的書~~結局明顯勾人看下一部，隻好坐等……
