##有個老笑話是這樣說的，有兩位老婦人去卡茨基爾山旅遊。其中一個說：“哎，這地方的食物可真夠糟的！”另一個說： “可不是嘛，給的份量又那麼少。” 你瞧，我對生活的看法基本上也是如此：盡管充滿瞭寂寞、痛苦、悲慘和不幸，但又覺得一切都逝去得太快。

看完有點想哭，但我想起來他還活著，就笑齣瞭聲。人生中的每一任伴侶都又美又可愛，除瞭Mia Farrow，他認為她精神有問提。當喜劇演員寫劇本拍電影，該做的都做瞭，尤其在曼哈頓中城七大道和Broadway的54街上打過野戰，從沒缺過錢。不存遺憾，除瞭自認沒拍過傑作。其餘的都隻是外界的事，他活在自己的曼哈頓公寓裏。感覺如果沒有那些事，或許他不會寫這本自傳。

##“a misanthropic gangster-loving illiterate; an uncultivated loner”伍迪艾倫把自己歸結成一個幸運過頭的厭世者，他的文字裏是令人羨慕的寫作熱情和滿到溢齣的天賦。那個對著鏡子反復練習撲剋牌魔術的小男孩迴顧他的一生，伍迪艾倫式的電影男主角藏在書頁裏念著話外音，有趣讓人發笑直至膩煩聒噪。
