内容简介

　　墨子是墨家学派的创始人，鲁人（另说宋人或楚人），生于公元前468年左右，卒于公元前376年左右。
　　墨家与儒家曾并称显学，与儒家相似的是，墨家一派的起源与仪礼文化也有一定的关系。《汉书·艺文志》称“墨家者流，盖出于清庙之守”，《吕氏春秋·当染》中的记载大概可以证明这一点：“鲁惠公使宰让请郊庙之礼于天子，桓王使史角往，惠公止之。其后在于鲁，墨子学焉。”墨子与孔子都生活在人文气息浓厚的鲁国，其学术渊源相近也就可以理解。所以《淮南子·主术训》说，“孔丘、墨翟修先圣之术，通六艺之论”；《淮南子·要略》也说：“墨子学儒者之业，受孔子之术。”
