而眼前这队人，马蹄都用布裹了不说，居然所有护镖的人都骑着关外名驹——享有“千里绝群”美誉的“乌云马”。马队的中间护着八辆灰布马车，每辆皆以四匹高头大马拉着。马车粗看毫不起眼，但整辆车最要紧的车轱辘用的却都是最结实的铁桦木，且做工精湛。铁桦木比平常木头硬三倍，比普通钢都硬一倍，做出来的车轱辘自然也异常结实。只是此种木头只有南朝跟赤焰的边境才有，且数量十分稀少。
