Its first production at the Royal Court starred Ben Whishaw, Andrew Scott and Katherine Parkinson.
It was shortlisted as Best Play for the 2010 Evening Standard Theatre Awards.

评分##John 的困境也许每个人都会遇到，无法抉择以至于瘫痪，挣扎着想要知道自己是谁，不愿意躲在任何一个被标签的躯壳里苟活下去……但这里面尤其有意思的是，他之所以无法抉择，是因为无论他怎么选好像都无法逃脱外界给他的标签…… 剧本里还有个有意思的地方，虽然John是戏剧冲突的中心，他是那个被大家标签的人，但是最后整个剧里就只有他是有名字的，其他人（M for Man, W for woman, F for father)反而被作者讽刺地标签化了。
评分##"mercilessly accurate, whickedly funny and strangely touching"之前听了两遍但真正读过剧本后才发现它有多赞！每次M讽刺John用的语言都又刻薄又好笑，再脑补一下本喵那张委屈的脸就真的能笑出来了。多喜欢这部剧就有多遗憾没能看到它，希望以后能有video copy可以看
评分##作者开篇自述COCK这一名字非常provocative，灵感来自当时作者所呆的墨西哥某同志圣地，既是天主教去又非常流行斗鸡。虽然BenWhishaw在有声书里贡献了各种脏口和呻吟，但是AndrewScott那神经质的大段快速台词实在是太有压迫感了，完全被征服地没有还击之力，遇到这样的攻就嫁了吧，不得不说本喵啊你这个渣渣，⊙﹏⊙b汗
