And magically enough Susan Hirschman at Greenwillow Books made my dream come true. My first picture book, All Alone, was published in 1987. Since then I've written and illustrated many picture books and written several novels. I like the variety of trying new ways to fill the pages between two covers. Experimenting with words and paint and ink keeps my job interesting."

Now I live with my wife, my son, and my daughter in our own house and work at a drawing table in my own studio. I never thought I'd be lucky enough to be a real author and illustrator. 最早，我也很功利的希望Jerry能夠多看一些英文書，甚至減少中文書的購買。這樣可以提高Jerry的英文水平。但當你持續實施閱讀時，你真的會發現，語言隻是一種文字。我們不應該過分關注於“學語言”，而是應該堅持“閱讀”，閱讀孩子想看的書。對書的內容做一些篩選和把關。同時，擴充孩子看書的廣度。孩子就像一塊“海綿”，他/她對未知的世界其實都很好奇，你給他/她什麼，她/他就會吸收什麼。

抗生素從化學結構上分為β—內酰胺類（頭孢剋洛，如海南先聲的再剋和希刻勞），氨基糖苷類，大環內酯類（阿奇黴素，如輝瑞製藥的希舒美），阿莫西林（如海南先聲的再林，有種說法說小孩吃瞭牙黃---吃瞭會有抗藥性，所以先聲又開發瞭安奇—阿莫西林剋拉維酸鉀乾混懸劑），四環素類，氯黴素類，利福黴素類以及其它類。
