junya ishigami‘s work process is strictly methodical and oriented toward expanding the existing boundaries between design, architecture, and geography. the aesthetics of concentration, the transparency, and the simplicity of his ideas, models, and buildings are based on complex creative processes. ishigami presents his holistic search for the right proportions in a new publication: how small? how vast? how architecture grows, edited by chinatsu kuma, with texts by junya ishigami, and graphic design by takuma hayashi.

評分##好精緻，確實是隻有日本人纔能做齣這樣的作品。 這本小集子實際上提供瞭一種思考的方式，提煉瞭一種扯概念的技法，比如A與B，A中的B，B中的A，由A到B，像A一樣建造B…這其中A可能是森林，海洋，石頭，B可能是城市，住房，村落。在對待自然的態度上，中國日本和西方截然不同，中國是以自然為尊，西方是徵服自然，而日本則是把自然當做朋友，朝夕相處。
