##audiobook賊好，四個人物的角度敘述，每章都很短，易讀。人物都挺喜歡的，包括Alfred，和sidecharacters，比如shoepoet。戰爭殘酷，1000+裝載量的船運送著10000+難民，比tatanic要嚴重太多倍的曆史事件居然如此鮮為人知。希望世界和平。
評分##陪女兒讀的書。四個身份不同背景各異的年輕人，二戰中很多人並不是很熟悉的一段故事。既有塵封往事，又有美好愛情，又有戰爭殘酷，書甫一齣版就獲奬無數，成瞭米國中學生書單的必選之作。缺點是，或者說YA小說的特點是，人物有點扁平，情節過於浪漫。作者是立陶宛裔，可以說是在寫傢鄉的故事。其實比起這本，更想讀早些的Between Shades of Gray。
