评分##一个令人抑郁的故事。本书最大的问题是它在前半部试图以上帝视角来讲述这个故事，但Carreyron并没有足够的信息来做这个上帝。因此前半部给我最大的感觉就是我产生的疑问全都得不到解答，在Carreyron开始用第一人称讲述这个故事之后就好了很多（我怀疑前半部是不是为了增加书的厚度，编辑要求他后来加上的）。Carreyron把Theranos多年成功的最大原因归结于Holmes的个人魅力。我不买这个帐。这也是我最大的疑问。Carreyron没能给我一个回答，很可惜也没办法知道更多。在我粗浅的理解中，Holmes昙花一现的“成功”充分展示了所谓elitists，或者说“上层阶级”的盲从与愚蠢。恐怕也正是这种愚蠢和其产生的严重后果才造成了今天世界的割裂和populism explosion。三星半。
