具體描述
Hat, ribbon, bird, rose. To the people on the island, a disappeared thing no longer has any meaning. It can be burned in the garden, thrown in the river or handed over to the Memory Police. Soon enough, the island forgets it ever existed.
When a young novelist discovers that her editor is in danger of being taken away by the Memory Police, she desperately wants to save him. For some reason, he doesn’t forget, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult for him to hide his memories. Who knows what will vanish next?

評分##一開始覺得是delirium+the buried giant，可能是翻譯的問題寫得有點平淡，身為一個biomedic（…）我還在想最後該怎麼解釋，要是它像tbg一樣為什麼消失莫名其妙地就帶過瞭我真的會很生氣很生氣，但是看到後麵就覺得為什麼好像沒那麼重要，很石黑一雄的感覺，有點沒頭沒尾，但是處理得很好，沒必要在意為什麼 聽說電視劇是石原裏美演的，感覺她比起這本書還是太濃瞭一點 ps. typewriter的穿插真的太妙瞭，到最後雞皮疙瘩都起來瞭

評分##即使有挺多推薦，看瞭我實在覺得不怎麼樣，想法齣發點不錯，但是整個手法都很“小傢子氣”(無趣/局促/半成品感)，浪費時間

評分##披著科幻皮的文藝小說，不知道為什麼讀著讀著總是會想到石黑一雄（雖然技法上沒得比，這本書的手法上唯一比較精彩就是書中書裏打字員的故事瞭）。設定上有很多事情都沒有講清楚，這也是這本小說屢被詬病的地方，不過我個人還蠻喜歡這一點的——不知道為什麼記憶警察要清除你的記憶，不知道他們什麼時候要清初你的記憶，甚至有時候都不知道自己具體被清楚瞭什麼，這種莫名其妙、匪夷所思、全無固定標準的審核製度，不就是現實最好的寫照麼？就跟Hitchcock的《群鳥》一樣，你不知道鳥為何而來，纔是最恐怖的地方。
