　　本書屬於I Can Read係列中的Level 1。故事描述強者和弱者之間的對峙，一般人印象中膽小柔弱的老鼠卻絲毫不畏懼強大的壯碩的肥貓，勇敢嚮惡勢力挑戰，無論如何都想把被侵占的地盤收復。耐人尋味的故事以繞口的押運單字寫成，讓人得一邊閱讀一邊專注這些念起來舌頭快要打結的字。剛開始練習閱讀讀本的讀者也許會難以預測愈閤邏輯的故事情節，然而重復的音標與押運的單字會強化他們解碼的技巧。"
