評分##Nothing too profound, but Buruma writes well, a globalized form of good English. Interesting anecdotes about an era that I know little of.
評分高産作傢Ian Buruma的1975-1981在日本的迴憶錄。很零散，但一直都在探討gaijin（外人）在日本的狀態，如何（不）融入。讀來也不禁讓人想自己為什麼被日本文化吸引。有時候真是印證瞭多年前看Midnight in Paris（午夜巴黎）電影裏說的，大傢都在追逐過去的輝煌，不知自己的時代終有一天被未來的人追逐～

評分##這個時代的日本男權真是糟透瞭。前半部分日本的情欲怪誕文化太獵奇瞭，後半部分感覺作者被唐十郎PUA瞭？對這個導演無興趣，看起也無趣。outsider就是一種無法動搖的身份，作者的融入失敗更印證瞭Freedom is better than belonging. 之前有看到過友鄰提到為什麼移民會感到清淨，因為本地人並不關心你。
