In the Dream House is Carmen Maria Machado’s engrossing and wildly innovative account of a relationship gone bad, and a bold dissection of the mechanisms and cultural representations of psychological abuse. Tracing the full arc of a harrowing relationship with a charismatic but volatile woman, Machado struggles to make sense of how what happened to her shaped the person she was becoming.

評分##英文有聲書。題材優，非常討巧。文筆其實也好就是看多瞭有點煩。但是內容真的普通甚至有點囉嗦。作者本人自己來讀有聲書真是敗筆，這個不知道是語速還是語氣還是停頓感覺分分鍾要斷氣，聽得令人煩躁想打人。
