##Again，不讀原作不知道一個人的觀點背後有一個精遂龐大的思想體係。不知該說密爾是悲觀還是樂觀，一方麵在指齣社會問題上鞭闢入裏，到今天也依然受用，一方麵又在根本上相信人的天性有自我發展的可能性，真是讓人心神澎湃的人文關懷
評分##太甜瞭 John Stuart Mill在前言寫 一個一個論點都是和自己的妻子Taylor討論齣來的。本書也是妻子智慧的結晶。在女權方麵 John Stuart Mill強調女性參政權的重要性。這纔是soulmate的最高境界！！
評分##Classical liberalism，有很多點都非常值得深究（公民有哪些美德&為什麼公民的私德能“推”及公德）btw Mill的語言一點也不簡潔清晰啊（時隔兩年再讀覺得除瞭愛舉宗教的例子外，寫的還挺清晰明瞭，是不是之後也能讀懂馬剋思瞭？：）這次讀的中心放在natural penalty&tyranny of public opinion上，覺得Mill還是沒能給齣一個讓我信服的界定。時至今日，當externality（戴口罩，環境汙染，社交媒體）的問題愈發明顯&緊急，政治哲學上似乎還沒給齣一個對策，值得花時間好好思考
