評分##2019年在unsw書店買這本書的原因是裝幀深得我心，封皮材質很舒服，字體也選得很妙，帶點古意但又不齣跳，再加上平裝和毛邊，堪稱齣版界楷模裝幀。從那起兩年多過去瞭，這本書跟著我從澳大利亞迴國，現在又到美國，流浪的距離甚至超過瞭奧德修斯本人，終於今天讀完瞭。我是提前就知道自己欣賞不來古希臘詩歌的，但就當是文化掃盲瞭吧。

評分##(Lattimore and Fagles are more literal, and Fagles has excellent notes, but Fitzgerald is a far better poet, and his Odyssey is magical.) Then I have to try EW's translation...
評分##Excellent translation! I went to her talk at Yale. Such a sharp and attentive scholar. When she read out aloud her own translation--Penelope's dream and the massacre of the suitors, I was enamored by her words. She genuinely loves Homer and her passion for this literature just exuberated in the lecture hall. Energy overflows in her translation!
