評分###有聲書 我一個不生孩子的人也不明白自己為什麼選瞭這本書來看，或許是被名字所吸引，或許想要和父母和解。總的來說full of clinche nothing new。核心思想是，children do not do what we say; children do what we do. 唯一一點到我的是親密關係中validate other's feeling 很重要。聽完甚至覺得自己父母其實還不錯，茫茫人海中普通父母的一員。全書時長8 時22 分。2021年聽書時長總計103時19分

評分##如果我能生孩子的話大概同情能多點兒，傾嚮於女性讀者，但從當兒子的讀者角度也略有啓發：“I opened my mouth and my mother’s words came out”，很多父母鎸刻到我們身上的痕跡是祖父母鎸刻到他們身上，責怪他們很不公平，但要試著掙紮。作者的策略是故意用resentment、desertion這些大詞，把人的情緒分開，然後再依次梳理，therapist的主要作用就是幫助我們把亂成一團的情緒重新梳理好。強烈推薦打算要孩子的女性讀一下，“自己背著因襲的重擔，肩住瞭黑暗的閘門，放他們到光明的地方去；此後幸福的度日，閤理的做人”，魯迅先生這幾句話講的最好瞭。跟孩子建立對話的章節高光，尊重孩子的部分可操作性強（infant開始就有對話）。
評分##很好看！用詞簡單，容易讀，有很多例子和簡短的有意義的句子。很有啓發性，例如關係是一切的基礎。就是這本書怎麼這麼短呢？
